VOTA Diaspora (Malaysia Branch) Holds Exco Meeting, Reaffirms Commitment to Renewed Hope Agenda

The Malaysia Branch of Vote Tinubu Again (VOTA 2027) has held its Executive Committee (Exco) meeting, reaffirming its dedication to mobilising diaspora support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

The meeting, attended by branch executives and key members, focused on strengthening grassroots mobilisation, expanding outreach across Southeast Asia, and promoting the Renewed Hope Development Agenda championed by President Tinubu.

Key Resolutions from the Malaysia Exco Meeting

  • Diaspora Mobilisation: Members resolved to intensify efforts to rally Nigerians in Malaysia and neighbouring countries behind Tinubu’s 2027 campaign.
  • Community Outreach: Plans were made to host town halls, cultural events, and policy dialogues to explain the Renewed Hope Agenda to Nigerians abroad.
  • Youth Engagement: The branch pledged to involve Nigerian students and young professionals in Malaysia in political advocacy and leadership training.
  • Digital Campaigning: The Exco agreed to strengthen online presence through coordinated social media campaigns targeting diaspora communities.
  • Partnerships: The branch will collaborate with other diaspora organisations to amplify Nigeria’s reform narrative globally.

“The proposed establishment of GAMCO is one of the revolutionary steps taken by Mr President and this administration in the all-important power sector. We are here for the inauguration of the Committee on Grid Asset Management Company (GAMCO), which is basically to optimise and revolutionise power generation, and in particular, the grid and transmission sector,” the Chief of Staff said.


He called on members to align with the President's vision in proposing the formation of GAMCO and to stick to the committee's mandate.
